New Release: Streamlined Cloud Deployment process, new UI, smarter Answer File Wizard

Just a few weeks ago we released our latest version, SmartDeploy 2.0.3000. It is packed with new features and improvements, some that you’ll notice right upon download. Others will be nearly invisible to you as we build the structure to support new features set for release later this year – stay tuned for more on that!

Here’s what’s new in SmartDeploy 2.0.3000:

  • New Console and wizard user interface: More intuitive navigation and additional information and resources added for the most common activities.
  • Cloud Deployment process: The Upload Wizard uploads your image and Platform Packs to your cloud storage provider, all without leaving the SmartDeploy Console. Cloud Deployment is currently in beta, if you would like to try this feature please contact us.
  • Re-designed Answer File Wizard, including changes to the Advanced Options: Moved some tasks into the Advanced Options and moved common ones, like computer naming into the normal workflow of the wizard. Note: All of your old answer files will still work with your new version.
  • Bug fixes and performance improvements: A number of minor performance improvements and bug fixes have been included throughout.
